Khahmaa Breeds
Pure blood lines: Pure blood Khahmaa are those who are born out of Khahmaa and Shahmaa. Khahmaa children are called Khahmea. This line has Shaamae human traits, and the traits of the big cat they can shift into. Animal Born Khahmaa out of this line have Shahmaa traits as well, and one physical animal aspect added to the Shahmaa's predisposed bestial appearance.
Mixed blood lines: If a Khahmaa has a child with a race other than Shahmaa (which Shahmaa cannot do, while Khahmaa can), then like all mixed people, the child will have the physical aspects of both parents. The child will also have the animal form of the therianthrope parent. Khahmaa cannot breed with mortal people.
Therianthrope with Therianthrope: This can only work if the animal form both partners take is the same. They cannot produce offspring otherwise.
Animal Born Therianthrope: The parent must elect an animal partner they have the form of, and mate with that animal while in animal form him/herself. The result is an Animal Born Khahmaa, or Khahdijal. Khahdijal are highly respected if they are one with the natural world and at peace with themselves. They often become Shamans or Lore Masters. All Khahdijal are born with one physical trait from their animal parent that is always manifest. It might be whiskers, a tail, claws, fangs, fur, any big cat trait that a Khahmaa does not already have. Khahdijal are born as animals, and shift into human form once they mature as an animal.
Siring: Those chosen for this practice are called tau (elects) by the Therianthrope. It is done by wounding the elect deeply, and then licking the wounds until they heal. The change occurs within 7-31 days (mun discretion). Any person who is not immune to siring can be sired by Therianthrope.

Information

Therianthrope are people related to the Vaegoa Namas, and the Shahmaa. These people can take animal, and partial animal form at will. They are in no way controled by the moon like lycanthrope. Each therianthrope can shift into one animal form, and they have a close connection to that animal. These people originated from animal worshippers. There are two races of Therianthrope; The Khahmaa, who take big cat forms, and the Besthravae, which have many different animal forms among their kind. Both of these people are quasi-immortal and form tribes, or in the case of the Khahmaa, prides. These people can produce children out of quasi-immortal humans, the animal they are kin to, and the Besthravae can have offspring with mortal humans as well. This is how they produce offspring. Children born out of animals attain an animal trait that is everpresent in their form. They are considered marked by their ancestral spirit and blessed. Indeed they can shift far more swiftly and painlessly from human form to animal form, and can call any animal trait into themselves in any phase they are in. Those born out of humans cannot shift as easily, the shift is painful for them, and they can only call physical aspects of their animal form into themselves unless they shift completely into animal form. Therianthrope have the traits of their animal type, and their ancestral human partner. Therianthrope can also sire, and do so by wounding their elected sireling, and then licking at the wounds. Their saliva also heals, and when the wounds they caused are healed, their elect is sired, and will change within a week to a month of days.
