Harmless beetles with colorful, indigo-blue, violet, and green irridescent shells. They reach 2 inches in length. When these beetles swarm, it is an indication of rain which they migrate towards. They swarm at no other time. Lifespan of 2 years.
Location: Found in desert, arid, and semi-arid areas.
