Lombra
Gold Lombra
Featured above is a rare breed of Grassland Gold Lombra found only in Esscha Endor and further south in West Haven of Morendor. In the wild this breed never strays far from shore and the unique westcoast yellow seaweed it loves to eat, nutgrass it's second favorite food. If found elsewhere it was likely either chased or moved out of its usual habitats. The Gold lombra has two color variants, the white maned gold coat seen above, and one with brown dappling with some striping and darker streaks in its mane and tail. This rare breed is protected and either capturing without consent or killing for any reason carries a very high penalty.

About Lombra
Lombra breeds can be interbred to produce a beautiful and wide variety of color combinations. These animals are commonly used for mounts and are in many cases more valuable than horses. They are harder to train, but this stems from their wild streak. They are more intelligent than horses. They are strong, swift, agile, can leap like big cats and can be trained for combat. Rear claws are damaging as are their hooves, horns and bite. Lombra can be very loyal if gentled and trained correctly. Those who have no paitence with gentling them, often beat them into submission to break their spirits, and shackle them to tether them, as they can escape most other tethers. They have quick healing regeneration. These animals graze, browse, and forage.
Large, horse sized animal with a horse-cow-goat-like head, cow-like horns, and a lion-like mane which extends from jawline to chest and shoulders, and is longer on the whithers. They also have one or two blunt nose horns the same color as their hooves and horns, although some breeds or mixes may not have the nose horns at all. Females lack the larger crown horns and nose horns, if they have them, may be longer. Their front feet are cloven hooved, with hoof skirts, and horse-like legs, while rear legs are lion-like, with clawed paws.
