Information

Like Cruthirae, Grand shapeshifter's have a true form which has the appearance of a beast-kin goat, with human-like clawed hands, cloven hooves, goat ears, humanistic goatish faces (goat-like nose and lips), facial hair and goatees (males), body hair, and flared goat horns, but they also have large wings (feathered or bat like) and are capable of flight. They are 6'1-7'1 in height, females smaller by 4-5 inches. Females have breasts while males are built like muscular, humanoid males with exception of their goat-like aspects. These shapeshifters can assume any form which they can adapt themselves to by familiarity, ie taking the visual appearance, voice, scent, knowledge of, and presence of another creature into their memory. When they shift forms, they take on the physical aspects, inborn abilities, and limited arcane powers (up to any 10 spells in each path) of whatever form they take (at their own level), and are able to combine these aspects, even into their true form. Wisdom determines the prowess (level) of these creatures, for it is with knowledge that they become great in their abilities. Their true form is quasi-immortal, as are any mortal forms they take. When they assume the immortal form of another creature, they themselves become immortal. There is no limit to how many forms they can learn (at 1 form per level of wisdom) for they can gain wisdom through the forms they take, although the most wisdom (the highest level) they can apply to their forms is limited (at max level of 44), while their is no roof to how much wisdom they can attain. In true form, they have exceptional hearing and sense of smell (+10 each), and are rather strong (+8) and quick (+10). Shapeshifters are seldom trusted because they are so capable of deceiving others, and yet how deceptive they are depends on the individual. Some shapeshifters use their forms to deceive, to improve their chances as thieves, spies, or assassins, while others use their forms a defense, or to gain the advantage of a form for various reasons. In order for them to assume the form of another being, they must consume the soul of living creature to gain their form.
